PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To utilize a porous silicate as a sensor to gas and a functional element for recognizing molecules by making its shape into the filmlike one. SOLUTION: In the method for synthesizing a porous silicate film, an anodic oxide film of aluminum is brought into hydrothermal reaction in a sodium silicate solution, and the anodic oxidation film is made into an aluminum- containing silicate film.
