PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which can give bright lighting by sufficiently using the light from a light source. SOLUTION: This lighting device is equipped with the light source, a 1st lighting optical system, and a 2nd lighting optical system and a reflection member which are arranged opposite the 1st lighting system; and the 1st lighting optical system is arranged where the light from the light source is guided to an imaging lens group in an objective and the reflection member is arranged at least between the light source and 1st lighting optical system or in the 1st lighting optical system so that it can be inserted and extracted.
