摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a direct observation device capable of performing a long- term observation without replacement by developing a heat resisting and corrosion resisting see-through body material. SOLUTION: This direct observation device of high-temperature corrosive fluid inner part comprises an observation window 10 opened in a wall body 2 for sealing a high-temperature corrosive fluid 4 and a translucent see-through body 14 closely fitted to the observation window 10, so that a target 6 in the fluid 4 is observed through the see-through body 14 from the outside. The see- through body 14 is formed of yttria stabilized zirconia. The yttria stabilized zirconia is formed of a crystal body containing 1-40 wt.% of yttria and 99-60 wt.% of zirconia. The yttria stabilized zirconia has high corrosion resistance in addition to heat resistance, and has corrosion resistance not only to general high-temperature corrosive fluids but also to cooling water containing boric acid in a nuclear power plant.
