PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking system and a braking device decreasing sound generated at the time of braking. SOLUTION: This braking system comprises a movable portion 111 provided so as to reciprocate between a first position contacting with a contacted portion and a second position separating from the contacted portion, a spring 115 energizing the movable portion to contact with the contacted portion 105, an electromagnet 117 separating the movable portion from the contacted portion against energizing force of the spring, and a control device 10 controlling the electromagnet; and controls relative operation of the contacted portion and the movable portion. The control device 10 of the braking system has a current detecting means 11 detecting a current passing through a coil 117 of the electromagnet, a means 12 obtaining a differential value d/dt by differentiating a current value detected by the current detecting means, and a voltage controlling means 13 controlling voltage applied to the coil of the electromagnet on the basis of the differential value. |
