PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interline rod having no trouble on yarn-twisting and capable of performing smooth fishing operation. SOLUTION: The inner rod 3 of the interline rod is a tube-shaped member having a fishline passage inside. The inner rod 3 has the following members; a helical fishline-supporting protrusion 30 formed continuously in the longitudinal direction on the inner peripheral surface of the fishline passage and a groove 31 extending in the longitudinal direction formed on a part of the peripheral direction on the inner peripheral surface of the fishline passage.
