PURPOSE: A method for auctioning an authentication key through the Internet and supplying information using an MVD(Mini Versatile Disk/Multimedia Versatile Disk) is provided to supply an integrated solution combined with on/off line by developing an MVD media and constructing a base of two-way digital contents communication through an interlock of an MVD and the Internet. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether an on-line connection is executed(100). In the case that an MVD is operated through the Internet, a computer is operated(102). It is judged whether an operation is executed by inserting the MVD after operating the computer(104). A secure on-line web server judges genuineness of the MVD. If the MVD is genuine, an authentication report is automatically performed(106). It is judged whether a member joining of a user was executed after receiving the authentication report(107). If a member joining was not executed, personal information is written and the personal information is stored in the secure on-line web server and a member joining is executed(105). An ID and a password of the user are inserted(108). If the ID and the password are correct, the user connects to a secure on-line service of an artist corresponded to the MVD and receives a wanted service(110).
