PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a mail addressed to a user from being read by another person when using one facsimile machine or telephone equipment among a plurality of users. SOLUTION: In the communication equipment composed of a base unit connected to a line and at least one handset connected with the base unit by radio while having two or more mail addresses, on the basis of steps (S2, S4 and S6) for deciding the base unit and/or handset corresponding to the mail address sent from a mail server together with an incoming call notice according to a corresponding relation in a storage means and steps (S3, S5 and S7) for reporting incoming call only to the terminal decided by the deciding means, the delivery of the mail to the mail server is reported to the base unit and/or handset.
