<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of setting freedom of an intake passage length, to improve volumetric efficiency and reduce the size of an intake manifold, in an intake device for a V-type internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The intake manifold M of the intake device for a V-type internal combustion engine comprises an intake collecting chamber 20 and intake passages 21 comprising a long intake passage 22 and a short intake passage 23, and is arranged in a space S between a left and a right bank BL and BR in V-shaped form. The intake collecting chamber 20 comprises a common collecting chamber 20C and a left and a right collecting chambers 20L and 20R, and a throttle body 13 is arranged in the left collecting chamber 20L. The long intake passage 22 is connected to the common collecting chamber 20C, and the short intake passage 23 is connected to the left collecting chamber 20L or the right collecting chamber 20R for each of the banks BL and BR. The common collecting chamber 20C, the left collecting chamber 20L and the right collecting chamber 20R are interconnected by a first communicating passage 51 positioned just over the short intake passage 23 to interconnect the left collecting chamber 20L and the right connecting chamber 20R, and by a second communicating passage interconnecting the first communicating passage 51 and the common collecting chamber 20C.</p> |
