<p>PURPOSE: To provide a branching wiring system in which a master machine is capable of detecting a discontinuity when the discontinuity is generated in an auxiliary electrical wire and a terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION: In a branching wiring system connecting a master machine 1 and plural terminal equipments 3 operating based on the control signals from the master machine by the branching wiring 4 formed by a main electrical wire 5 to be connected with the master machine and plural auxiliary electrical wires 6 connecting the main wire and each terminal equipment, the master machine is provided with a test signal output means 2 outputting a test signal commanding a test detecting a discontinuity to the branching wiring by having a signal preparation part 2a preparing the test signal, and the auxiliary electrical wire is provided with a discontinuity monitoring means 7 having a discontinuity detection part 8 detecting the presence or absence of the discontinuity on the secondary side when the test signal is received and a short signal output part 9 provided with a relay contact 10 outputting the detection signal of the discontinuity detection part as a short signal to the master machine.</p> |
