PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal that an event participant can borrow in an event hall and by which the event participant can refer to his/her desired information at any time. SOLUTION: An event sponsor uses an information distribution system 10 to control video information obtained by four cameras 1 to 4 and adds voice/ character information with respect to the event to the video information to create distribution information and uses a near distance wireless transmission unit 8 placed in the event hall to distribute the distribution information. The mobile information terminal 20 uses a reception unit 11 to receive the distribution information distributed from the near distance wireless transmission unit 8, always continues storing the information to a storage section 13 via a recording signal processing section 12. The information stored in the storage section 13 is sequentially deleted from the oldest information when the storage capacity of the storage section 13 is fully occupied and the information is updated by the newest information. A user selects desired information among the stored information items and reproduces the selected information.
