PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical instrument capable of securing the safety by detecting the contact condition of the inserting part of the body of the medical instrument with the other contact object outside the visual field of an endoscope. SOLUTION: Three distribution type touch sensors 61, 62, and 63 are mounted on the outer surface of a sheath 32 of a first treatment instrument. The first touch sensor 61 is disposed in a range projected on a TV monitor 9, the second touch sensor 62 is disposed ahead of a terminal part 15b, and the third touch sensor 63 is disposed on the root side from the terminal part 15b. |
