PURPOSE: A shock absorber of a hood in a vehicle is provided to devise the safety of pedestrians by giving a shock absorbing function in an over slam bumper between the hood and a headlamp. CONSTITUTION: Many hollow and soft over slam bumpers(20) are installed in a space between a hood(10) and an upper member(18). The one end of the over slam bumper is combined with an inner panel(10a) of the hood(10) and the other end of the over slam bumper is contacted to the upper member. Thereby, the shock to pedestrians is minimized.
