PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor having a new structure, capable of stably engaging/disengaging a clutch means arranged on an engaging path of driving force to an output member of the motor, and returning an object to be operated with return force to its initial position after drive-displacing and holding the object from the initial position to an operating position. SOLUTION: This motor 18, in which a magnetic pole of a permanent magnet 38 formed on a rotor 32 and a magnetic pole of a coil winding formed on a stator 36 are arranged so as to face each other, is used as a motor exerting a driving force on an output member 176. A switching member 22, which longitudinally operates the clutch means 20 arranged on the engaging path of the driving force on the output member 176 of the motor 18, is operated by use of the reverse rotation of the rotor 32 during the stop of the feeding to the motor 18.
