PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil bobbin for transformer the size of which is prevented from becoming larger by preventing the formation of through holes on both sides of an upper flange and the terminal block of which can be mounted easily on the flange without forming any breakable long arm on the flange. SOLUTION: In this coil bobbin, a terminal block mounting section (5) is formed at one end section of the upper flange (3) formed on the upper end side of a winding drum section (2) so that a separate terminal block (8) may be mounted on the mounting section (5). A rib (7) is formed on the inside of the mounting section (5) and a plurality of plate-like walls is formed on the rib (7). In addition, a plurality of through holes (17) into which the plate-like walls of the rib (7) are respectively inserted is formed in the inner end section of the terminal block (8).
