SUBSTANCE: when call is made, preceding change-over system transmits call signal, that is, additional address signal for continuity test to next change-over system and at the same time organizes closed circuit of communication channel; upon reception of initial address signal next change-over system conveys audio test signal to closed circuit of communication channel to test communication channel for continuity.
