摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer, a conduction control method and an information recording medium arranged such that the conduction timing and the conduction driving time of a plurality of heating elements constituting a logic block can be controlled by previously determining a pattern for dividing a plurality of heating elements constituting a physical block into simultaneously conductible logical blocks based on one or a plurality of physical block data of one dot line data. SOLUTION: The dividing pattern determining section 204 of a line thermal printer 100 takes out next one dot line data stored in a print buffer 212 and determines logical block data corresponding to the print data for logical blocks subjected to divided printing based on physical block data. The conduction pattern determining section 205 of the line thermal printer 100 determines the conduction pattern of each heating element for making constant the print density based on the division pattern of previous one dot line data and the division pattern of next one dot line data and then delivers a conduction pattern thus determined to a print mechanism section 104.
