PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach filaments to a substrate without using metal parts, such as anchors, supports, and the like, in a fluorescence luminescence tube, in which long length filaments are spanned by splitting them. SOLUTION: Metal layers 15 and 16 for cathode wiring, and metal layers 151 to 153 and 161 to 163 for terminal parts of cathode wiring, are formed on the cathode substrate 112, and this is fixed to a pair of the metal layers for terminal parts, for example, 151 and 161, so that parts of the filaments 171 to 173 overlap. The both ends of filaments 171 to 173 have been fixed, by carrying out ultrasonic wire bonding of metal wires 18 to each of the metal layers for terminal parts. Spacers 19, having a predetermined height, hold each filament. In addition, anode electrodes 13 are covered with a fluorescent substance, and grids 14 are provided.
