PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of operating a reluctance motor which can cope with a wide use capable of self start, and to provide its device. SOLUTION: In the method of operating a reluctance motor, which is equipped with a stator, where the three-phase winding is start-connected in distributed winding and the neutral point terminal of each phase of above three- phase winding is led out and is delta-connected and a rotor which has magnetic salient property, the motor is operated in delta connection, until synchronization from the start of the reluctance motor, and it is operated in star connection, after synchronization of the reluctance motor. |
