PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and easy to be module-contructed intake system to be arranged on the upper side of an engine. SOLUTION: In the intake system 1, air passing through a cleaner case 10 storing an air element is introduced through a throttle 43 into a throttle box 31 and distributed from the throttle box 31 to each cylinder of the engine 70 through intake manifolds 50, 55. The throttle box 31 and the intake manifolds 50, 55, previously divided, and mounting opening portions 36a, 37a opening to side faces 36, 37 of the throttle box 31 and the intake manifolds 50, 55 are integrally joined, and mounted and supported on the upper face of the engine 70.
