PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generator which can be interposed on the way of piping. SOLUTION: The ozone generator is interposed on the way of piping, and generates ozone from oxygen passing through the piping so as to clean the gas passing through the piping. The ozone generator has a constitution that an insulating material 4 and two electrodes 51, 52 are provided in a cylindrical casing 3, and electric discharge is generated at the corner parts 11, 12 formed at the each contact part between the insulating material 4 and each electrode 51 or 52, and therefore the gas passing through the corner parts 11, 12 is converted into ozone. Connecting members 81, 82 are connected to communicate with the piping.
