<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a booming noise prevention control device for an engine for a vehicle capable of suppressing generation of lock-up shock or booming noise, while improving fuel economy. SOLUTION: Generation of booming noise to damage a driving environment can be suppressed, even if an engagement region or a slip region of a lock-up clutch 26 is expanded, since a driving cycle of the engine 10 is changed according to a vehicle state or an engagement state of the lock-up clutch 26 to prevent generation of booming noise of the engine 10 by a driving cycle change means 108, and thereby fuel economy can be improved as much as possible. Namely, booming noise is hardly generated, even if the engagement region or the slip region of the lock-up clutch 26 is expanded up to a region unusable due to generation of booming noise in a conventional way, and fuel economy can be improved.</p> |
