The pneumatic servomotor (1) has a moving partition (2) which separates rear and forward chambers (3,4) within a cylinder (11). The partition consists of a skirt (20) which forms a piston and is attached (21) to a flexible membrane (5). The membrane is in the form of sleeve which is folded back on itself and unrolls from the inner surface (110) of the cylinder. Air circulation grooves (60) cut in the inner surface of the cylinder hold the membrane in place.
