The micro-wave oven has at least cardboard packaging plate with lateral walls having on its lower surface (11) a microwave reflective layer. The food support plate has circular or rectangular locations for placing the Sushi into which holds the food at the upper level (10) of the plate. The plate may be fabricated from two foldable sheets of cardboard, one for the base and other for the top, the folded sides of both parts being glued together. The top sheet (11) includes locations for placing food portions and is permeable to microwaves. The bottom sheet (10) has a metallic cover which reflects microwaves. Alternatively. a single sheet is used to form top, bottom and sides.
