PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetron with low cost, protected against unwanted radiation with simple structure without requiring an external filter, having excellent mass productivity. SOLUTION: The magnetron is formed by closely jointing a stem insulation body 11a, having a pair of lead wires 4, 5 supporting a cathode structure 1, airtightly penetrated through the stem insulation body, to one open end side of an anode structure through an eyelet-shaped metal tube 19. A member with high dielectric constant 29 and a tubular metal choke member 30 are arranged at the inside of the eyelet-shaped metal tube 19 in this sequence, and the choke member 30 is electrically connected to either one of the pair of lead wires.
