PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image recording method in which a radiosensitizing screen excellent in sensitivity and sharpness used in medical radiography in which photographing is carried out using X-rays is combined with a radiographic sensitive material and to particularly provide an X-ray image recording method utilizing a unit with a radiographic element capable of imaging by thermal development. SOLUTION: In the X-ray image recording methods, a photographic assembly comprising a silver halide photographic sensitive material having a silver halide photosensitive layer and a radiosensitizing screen having a phosphor layer containing phosphor particles of 10-100 nm crystallite size having isotropy to scattering of X-rays in such a way that the surface of the silver halide photosensitive layer is kept in contact with the surface of the phosphor layer is exposed using an X-ray generator as a light source to obtain an image.
