<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for detecting pressure of an internal combustion engine capable of preventing the accumulation of water droplets which occur due to the condensation of water vapors contained in exhaust gases and suction air inside a pressure detecting device and a pressure introducing tube. SOLUTION: The periphery of the pressure detecting device 6 and a metal tube 5b is covered with a metal plate 8 formed of stainless steel, rolled steel, or the like. One surface of the metal plate 8 is fixed to an engine 1 by a screw 9 for transmitting heat of the engine 1 to the pressure detecting device 6 and the metal tube 5b, and the other surface is arranged in such a way as to shield the pressure detecting device 6 and the metal tube 5b for protecting the pressure detecting device 6 and the metal tube 5b from the wind which has entered while a motor vehicle is travelling. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the water droplets 14 from accumulating inside the pressure detecting device 6 and prevent the water droplets 14 accumulated in the metal tube 5b from entering the pressure detecting device 6 by vibrations, etc.</p> |
