PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the disinfecting capability of a disinfecting water made of acid water of an endoscope washing device with the naked eye during washing. SOLUTION: In this endoscope washing and disinfecting device, an electrolysis cell 1 is filled with water to which salt is added, and after washing and disinfecting liquid formed of alkaline water and acid water is fed into a washing pipe of a washing device 3 from the plus side of the electrolysis cell 1 through a supply pipe 2, the pipe is washed with water and the inside of the washing pipe is dried with air. The supply pipe 2 is provided with a chlorine concentration detecting device 10 for the acid water, or at an overflow part 13 before the acid water exceeds an overflow plate 12, the chlorine concentration is detected. |
