PURPOSE: A power generation apparatus is provided to generate the large amount of rotary power with the small amount of electric power by converting effectively polarity of electromagnets. CONSTITUTION: A power supply portion(1) supplies DC power. The first and the second rotary plates(32,34) are formed on a rotary shaft(31). The first and the second magnets(32a,33) are formed on the first rotary plate(32). The third and the fourth magnets(35,36) are formed on the second rotary plate(34). A fixing plate(37) is formed between the first and the second rotary plates(32,34) by using a bearing(38). A magnetic body(39) is located on the fixing plate(37). The magnetic body(39) has a shape of bar. A coil(40) is wound around the magnetic body(39). A power generation portion(3) is formed with the rotary shaft(31), the first and the second rotary plates(32,34), the first to the fourth magnets(32a,33,35,36), the fixing plate(37), the bearing(38), the magnetic body(39), and the coil(40). A generator portion(5) generates electricity by using rotary power of the rotary shaft(31). A control portion(2) changes polarity of the voltage supplied to the coil(40).
