FIELD: silicate materials technology. SUBSTANCE: process of production of aluminosilicates suitable as structural materials and heat-insulating and deafening materials involves preparation of raw meal from naturally occurring clayey mineral and water, molding, drying, and firing. According to invention, raw meal is completed by inorganic glaze-forming substances and molding of product is accomplished by placing raw meal in mold wherein gas-permeating insertions are installed. On drying, specified part of surface of product being molded is remained opened and drying is conducted under infrared radiation with wavelength 5-10 mcm using forced ventilation. Advantageously, glaze-forming substances are those selected from alumina, barium oxide, iron oxide, calcium oxide, magnesium oxide, sodium oxide, zinc oxide, and silica taken in amounts.
