PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry electrophotographic toner ensuring a stable quantity of electric charges on the toner and a stable quantity of the toner conveyed even when used over a long period of time and giving high image density and high image quality with little surface stain and to provide a developer and an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the dry electrophotographic toner comprising a binder resin, a colorant, an electrostatic charge controlling agent and an additive, the binder resin contains at least one polyester not containing a THF-insoluble component, having <=4 wt.% content of a component whose molecular weight is <=500 and having one peak in the molecular weight range of 3,000-9,000 in its molecular weight distribution by gel permeation chromatography(GPC) and the electrostatic charge controlling agent is a resinous electrostatic charge controlling agent having at least a sulfonate-containing monomer, an aromatic monomer having an electron withdrawing group and an acrylic ester and/or methacrylic ester monomer as constitutional units. |
