PURPOSE: An electric hair care appliance is provided to improve the convenience and efficiency of hair styling work, and to produce work environment most suitable for the moisture supply of hair. CONSTITUTION: The electric hair care appliance comprises a V-shaped body(206); a metal cover(201) mounted to one distal end of the body and drilled with a plurality of holes; a water container(215) detachably attached to the rear surface of the metal cover; an ultrasonic oscillator(202) attached to the metal cover; a thermostat(204) attached inside a groove formed on a mica shield(203) at the rear side of the ultrasonic oscillator, which serves as an overheating prevention sensor; a coil spring or plate spring for keeping an elastic force and damping force between the oscillator, mica shield and body; a control circuit(209); and a battery(211).
