PURPOSE: A method for detecting a position of a rotator in a sensorless BLDC motor is provided to detect correctly a position signal of the rotator by intercepting current of each phase in a driving operation of a motor and obtaining counter electro-motive force. CONSTITUTION: A user determines a selecting state of a position information correction mode. The position of a rotator is presumed by using current and voltage applied to phases of A, B, and C and a motor is driven if the position information correction mode is not selected. The current applied to the phases of A, B, and C is intercepted to detect phase-to-neutral voltages of A, B, and C if the position information correction mode is selected. The counter electro-motive force of the phases of A, B, and C is calculated by the phase-to-neutral voltages of A, B, and C. The position information of a rotator is detected by using the counter electro-motive force.
