PURPOSE: An inspecting apparatus for a cowl cross bar is provided to check the assembling portion of a vehicle body by assembling the cowl cross bar inspecting apparatus in a dash panel, and to correct errors from the different gap of the dash panel. CONSTITUTION: A supporting bar is protruded downward in the middle of a main pipe(10), and combined with an assembling bracket of a center floor panel. Guide supporting brackets(40) are mounted in left and right parts of the main pipe to move a dummy crush pad(50) to the right and the left. Guide rails(41) are installed in upper and lower parts of the guide supporting bracket. The assembling portion of the vehicle body and the side are checked by assembling the cowl cross bar inspecting unit in a dash panel, and errors are corrected.
