PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aquarium heater device capable of preventing the abnormal heat buildup of the electrothermal member without causing a breakage of the semiconductor switch even in case the situation of the heater device actuation out of the aquarium occurs. SOLUTION: This aquarium heater device has the following structure: a heat-resistant cylindrical pipe 10 is encapsulated, together with an electrothermal member 20, in separate temperature ranges, with a mount board 21 functioning to make a temperature control by controlling the energization into the electrothermal member 20 by using a thyristor SCR acting so as to control ON/OFF according to the action of a thermistor TH detecting the temperature of the water in an aquarium; wherein the thermistor TH is mounted at such a position on the mount board 21 as to be close to the electrothermal member 20 rather than the thyristor SCR.
