PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter circuit with improved mounting efficiency. SOLUTION: An inverter main circuit 73 of a half-bridge type inverter circuit 72 has N-channel and P-channel MOS-type field effect transistors Q1 and Q2 which are complementary to each other. The field effect transistors Q1 and Q2 are housed in the same package with four pin terminals. The drain of the field effect transistor Q1 is used as a drain terminal D(N) of the N channel, sources of the field effect transistors Q1 and Q2 are used as a common source terminal S, gates of the field effect transistors Q1 and Q2 are used as a common gate terminal G, and the drain of the field effect transistor Q2 is used as a drain terminal D(P) of the P channel so as to correspond to the four pin terminals respectively.
