METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING POLYMERIZED TONER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polymerized toner having excellent fixability and further having excellent developing performance and transferability even when repeatedly used many times. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a polymerized toner, a polymerizable monomer composition is put in an aqueous medium, granulation is started, a polymerization initiator is added to the aqueous medium during granulation and the granulated polymerizable monomer composition is polymerized to manufacture toner particles. The polymerization initiator is added to the aqueous medium while taking a time of 5 to 300 sec and the time T (sec) required to add the polymerization initiator and the number N (times/sec) of passes of moving vanes used for granulation per unit time satisfy the relation of 3<=T×N<=500.
