PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy, accurate and automatic detection of the delayed amount of ghost, the level of ghost, etc., and improve precision of ghost detection by eliminating internal processing fluctuations which are generated in delay profile data. SOLUTION: The delay profile data 331, which contain the main wave of received radio wave and characteristics of ghost, are acquired from a delay profile detecting means 326 of digital signal processing equipment 320 via a digital input board 341. In a data-analyzing means 342, the delay profile data is approximated by using an envelope, and envelope data are produced. Comparison processing between the envelope data and the delay profile is conducted, a section where the delay profile data is greater than the envelope data is detected, and the section is determined as a ghost existence data section, where ghost exists. The maximum point generated by the internal processing fluctuations of the delay profile data are eliminated, so that only the maximum point which appears by existence of ghost can be detected.
