PREPARATION METHOD OF ALDEHYDE

PURPOSE: A method for preparing an aldehyde, use of a rhodium-based reaction product and a method for preparing a catalyst composition are provided, to improve the efficiency of hydroformylation for preparing an aldehyde using a rhodium-based catalyst without the increase of a reaction temperature accompanying the increase of catalyst degradation or the addition of large quantity of additional compounds for increasing the activity of a catalyst. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of an aldehyde comprises the step of reacting an olefin-based unsaturated compound with CO and hydrogen at temperatures of 20-200 deg.C and under a pressure of 0.1-50 MPa in the liquid phase in the presence of a rhodium-based catalyst, wherein metallic rhodium and/or at least one rhodium compound are reacted with CO and hydrogen in the presence of a rhodium complex compound during the reaction. Preferably the reaction is carried out in the presence of a liquid aqueous and a liquid organic phase; and/or in the presence of an organic phosphorus compound or its salts.
