PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment inspection deck on a slate roof and its construction method for easily and surely attaching it to the vicinity of various equipment arranged on a slate roof and safely performing work such as maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of the equipment in an optional time. SOLUTION: This equipment inspection deck 1 on the slate roof is constructed of supporting steel pipes 4 arranged at predetermined intervals on the slate roof 2 closely to the installed equipment, a scaffold plate 5 connected to the supporting steel pipe and having a predetermined area, and handrails 6 and 7 arranged in the scaffold plate 5. In addition to replacement of the various kind of equipment on the slate roof, during periodically performed its maintenance such as inspection and cleaning, maintenance and repair can be carried out at a low cost without carrying out any safety measure or temporary construction in every time.
