PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a blood pump capable of eliminating the level difference and ruggedness of its inner surface in order to prevent thrombus formation. SOLUTION: A core 36 is formed in the shape of a desired blood channel 30 by using water soluble material so as to confine a pump rotator 16 (a). A film 38 made of water soluble material is arranged at the part of a supporting hole 26 on the rotation axis of the rotator 16, and a supporting pivot 28 is inserted so as to insert this film 38 (b). The core 36 and a stator 24 are arranged in a mold to mold a casing by feeding resin (c). Water soluble resin at the core 36 and the film 38 is dissolved with water and washed away to obtain the blood pump.
