PURPOSE: An optical pickup device is provided to respectively write or read two layers of a multi-layer disk at the same time, thereby improving the work efficiency and efficiently using a structure of the multi-layer disk. CONSTITUTION: An optical pickup device for a multi-layer disk(90) includes a first light source generating a P-wave beam, a second light source generating an S-wave beam, a first detector receiving a reflected ray of the first light source for converting into an electric signal, a second detector receiving the reflected ray of the second light source for converting into the electric signal, and optical devices(60,62) forming each beam generated from the first light source and the second light source as optical spots on the optical disk and making each reflected ray of the optical spots received in the first detector and the second detector. |
