PURPOSE: A method for connecting to the public internet capable of electronic authentication is provided to access the Internet through a firewall program and an authentication card without an additional device. CONSTITUTION: A user inputs a password printed on an authentication card through a general computer(S100). The password is transmitted to an authentication server through an Internet network, and the authentication information is searched from an authentication information table(S200). The authentication server judges whether the password is valid(S300). If the password is valid, the user is approved for using the general computer(S400). A firewall program checks whether a usage time corresponding to the money endowed in the authentication card is passed(S500). If the password is invalid, the user can not use the general computer(S600).
