PURPOSE: To enable a user to select not only contents product but also contents in a contents distribution system. CONSTITUTION: In a browser 1, a contents selection part 101 selects the contents and selects a background video material, a foreground video material and an audio material by interactions with the user, and transmits them to a distribution device 2 through a transmission/reception part 103. A contents control unit 102 performs the transmission request of contents data, reception control management, time control, the display control of the video material and the output control of video data on the basis of scene description data transmitted from the distribution device 2. A contents display part 104 and a contents audio output part 105 reproduce video data and audio data outputted from the contents control unit 102. In the distribution device 2, an authoring part 202 reads respective data from a scene description data base 204, a video material database 205 and an audio material database 206 on the basis of contents selection contents sent from the browser 1 through the transmission/reception part 201. |
