The tilt switch is produced in a rotationally symmetric form that has a housing having a top contact plate (14) that is separated from a cone shaped contact (12). A metal contact ball (20) sits in the cone and when the angle of tilt is sufficient the ball rolls to make a circuit formed between the fixed contacts.
