PURPOSE: Crutches containing a support plate for supporting the upper body and a support rod with a curvature are provided which do not exert pressure upon the armpit of a user, do not cause inconvenience during walking, and absorb the impact of crutches to the ground. CONSTITUTION: The crutches(10) comprise a support rod(12), a support plate disposed at the upper part of the support rod, a handle disposed at the medium position of the support rod and an anti-slipping cap(15). In the crutches, the support rod is bent slowly to one side, and the radius of curvature is small from the support plate to a specified position beneath a handle(14), but large from the specified position to the end part of the lower support rod.
