<p>The invention relates to a catalytic membrane reactor comprising (i) a body, (ii) a tubular ceramic porous membrane element that is coaxially disposed inside said body to remove the hydrogen and (iii) a catalyst for the thermal decomposition of the hydrogen sulphide into sulphur and hydrogen. According to the invention, a layer of said catalyst is deposited directly on the tubular ceramic porous membrane element. The invention can be used in the treatment of gases that contain hydrogen sulphide.</p> |
