A food composition containing arabinose-coated low calorie sugar or arabinose-containing frost sugar is provided to secure a constant ratio of arabinose and sugar in every part of food due to the arabinose coated with low calorie sugar. A particle-like or powder-like food composition comprises arabinose-coated sugar or arabinose-containing frost sugar. The arabinose-coated sugar is obtained by coating refined sugar or brown sugar with an arabinose solution. The arabinose solution is prepared by dissolving powder-like arabinose in a solvent such as water. The 1-3 parts of solvent is added to the 1 part of arabinose by weight. The arabinose-containing frost sugar is prepared by mixing powder-like arabinose to pulverized sugar and adding a solvent to obtain mixed material. The arabinose-containing frost sugar has a 10~40 mesh of particle size.
