PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a erecting mirror under an objective lens. SOLUTION: The objective lens drive device 10A is provided with a base 11, which raises a yoke part 11f on a base plate part 11a and on which yoke part a focusing coil 12 and tracking coils 13A through 13D are fixed, a lens holder 14, on which an objective lens fixing part 14a for mounting an objective lens 15 is formed on an end in such a way that the thickness is made smaller in the height direction; a magnetic circuit formation part 14b and a pair of wire support parts 14c and 14d are formed on the other end, which is continuously connected to the objective lens fixing part with the thickness being larger in the height direction; and magnets 16A and 16B are fixed on the magnetic circuit formation part, and a plurality of suspension wires 18 which extend in-between a pair of wire support parts, which are formed on the lens holder to support the objective lens fixed on the lens holder, so as to freely swing the lens in focusing and tracking directions, and the base.
