PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image input device the maintenability of which is enhanced. SOLUTION: The image input device is configured to comprise; an image input section that applies photoelectric conversion to an optical image to generate image data; a log generating section that stores operation logs of the image input section; a log transmission section that transmits the operation log generated by the log generating section to a service center via a communication line; and an analysis result reception section that receives an analysis result of the operation log from the service center.
