摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake for vehicle capable of improving the assemblability of a member into a caliper by unitizing the member having a spring and a spring retainer fitted into the bottom part of a cylinder hole of the caliper in non-rotated state selected from two members forming an automatic clearance adjusting mechanism. SOLUTION: In this disk brake for vehicle, a first member of the automatic clearance adjusting mechanism comprises a push rod 37, a caliper 31, and a key plate 139 slidably engaged with the push rod 37, the spring retainer 140 is engaged with the key plate 139 in the state of compressing the spring 42 to a generally set length beforehand, and the first member, the spring 42, and the spring retainer 140 are unitized to form an assembly. Thus, the handling of the assembly and the installation of the assembly in the caliper 31 is facilitated, and the assembly is prevented from being extracted out of the cylinder hole 33 by a retaining ring 41 in the state where the assembly is installed at the bottom part of the caliper 31.</p>
